Sink all eight. Balls 1 to 7 go in any order. The 8 goes last.
Once 1–7 are down, a pocket lights up gold: the 8 has to go there. Sink the 8 early (even on the same shot as the last ball), in another pocket, or scratch on it, and you lose the rack.
Star days ★: some days have floating stars. Roll any ball through a star to collect it. All of them have to be collected before the 8, or you lose the rack. The aim line lights up the stars your shot will reach.
Capped pockets have a brass plate: balls roll over it and bounce back out.
Scratch (white ball in a pocket) costs a stroke, and the white ball goes back where you shot from.
Aim by dragging the table round: the camera turns and the cue turns with it. To fine-tune, grab the cue and slide it sideways. Or tap a ball to aim straight at it. In the overview, drag and the line follows your finger.
Shoot by grabbing the cue (or the white ball), pulling it straight back and letting go. The aim locks while you pull, so only how far back you go counts. Push back in to cancel.
Spin and massé: drag the red tip on the ball in the corner to hit high, low or to the side. The slider next to it raises the cue; raise it and add side spin to curve the ball.
Camera: swipe up or down to raise or lower it, and pinch or scroll to zoom. To look around freely, drag with two fingers (or right-drag with a mouse); your next swipe brings the camera back behind the cue.
Finish in as few strokes as you can. Same table for everyone today.
